Everyday Food and Faith explores the problem of overeating and how faith can provide assistance. This exploration is accompanied by ancient wisdom from the books of Psalms and Proverbs. The author also offers observations about her own experiences with food that helped her to normalize her own eating patterns. 

Everyday Food and Faith is for anyone who is weary of the commonplace battle with overeating. Is there a way to get out of the trenches and rise above the problem? Conventional wisdom tells us to take control, motivate, apply willpower, and self-monitor. But ancient religious wisdom offers something that is far more reliable. 

Vicki has volunteered in religious education for many years: teaching all ages and developing curriculum materials. After earning a B.S. degree in Sociology and Education for Social Studies, she worked within the fields of social services and education. She and her husband raised three children.
