A rich young man asked Jesus a question about eternal life. After they spoke about this, Jesus looked at him with love and told him what he needed to do. He needed to sell all that he owned and give to the poor. At this, the young man went away in sorrow. Jesus turned to his disciples and said, “How hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
