You might remember that Jesus fed five thousand people with five barley loaves and two fishes. Something else happened immediately after the miracle of the loaves and fishes. The people said to each other, “Surely, he is the prophet we have been expecting!” The excited multitude then arose to seize Jesus and make him king. But Jesus would not allow it. He turned to his disciples and told them to row back to Bethsaida. And then, he left them and went into the hills alone.
